Teaching meditation to children in hospital

Staff who work with children in hospital are experts in helping their patients to feel safe and calm in this environment, as well as support them during difficult or frightening experiences.
Nikki is a registered nurse (RGN) with experience of working in paediatrics. As a Connected Kids™ tutor and trainer, she has designed a one-day course for healthcare and teaching staff working within the paediatric clinical environment. This specialised, unique one-day course, designed by Nikki and the Connected Kids™ founder, Lorraine Murray, will teach staff about how mindfulness and meditation benefits children of all ages, for a range of situations including pain, stress and anxiety. Participants will learn how to write their own script for a meditation to deliver to a patient. They will also receive a copy of Lorraine Murray's book, Calm Kids, which is a pre-requisite to the level one Connected Kids™ training.
Contact Nikki to book now or call 07747 838180
Next Course Date: 20 May 2017, Poole Dorset
